Sinatra at the Sands is one of my favorites. The Counts orchestra is somewhat restrained but when they do rev it up it helps me understand why folks liked the big bands
Yeah, it’s a great album when the mood is right. Frank’s comedy routine in the middle was a surprise the first time I heard it. I’m guessing he had a couple extra cocktails before the show that night.
